Training Available COMPLETELY Online
The IT Division is now offering the Blackboard New Course Instructor training completely online as an alternative to the face-to-face session with the same name. You can register for this course through the IT Training tab in Blackboard (https://blackboard.wku.edu). There are a number of other workshops available online through the IT Training tab, including additional Blackboard topics, Respondus, Tegrity, Adobe Captivate, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop Basics, Clickers, OU Campus, and Creating ADA Compliant Course Materials.
IT provides a number of video tutorials that cover a wide variety of technology topics. Most tutorials are less than five minutes long and can be accessed anytime, anywhere, as many times as desired by way of the Internet. While viewing these videos, you can pause and rewind them to make sure you get the information you need. Videos are added periodically and marked as “NEW!” on the Video Tutorials page. This will make it easier for you to identify videos that have been added. Our library of videos currently houses over 370 tutorials.
